Our Departments

Marketing department

The function of international cocoa marketing, sales and sales promotions are key functions of the marketing department. It is located at the head office of the Company in Accra.

Shipping Department

It is responsible for the preparation and presentation of shipping documentations to buyers of cocoa. The Shipping Department liaise closely with shipping companies, insurance companies and destination inspection companies in order to ensure timely shipping of cocoa. Operates from Accra, Tema and Takoradi.

WPO Department

The Warehouse and Port Operations (WPO) Department takes over cocoa purchased by the Licensed Buying Companies (LBC) from farmers, warehouses the stock, organizes pre-shipment handling of cocoa and undertakes loading of vessels for shipment.

Accounts Department

All issues relating to the company’s finances are handled by the Accounts Department. Foreign receipts for cocoa purchased, freight costs payments and investments are some of the duties carried out by the department.

Audit Department

The Audit department monitors the internal company’s activities and ensures they fall in line with the acceptable standards set. They are also responsible for formulating policies to guide management’s decision making.

Security Department

The Security Department’s main function is to protect the life and property of the Company. Security of company’s stocks and assets are crucial to the successful operations of CMC.

Administration and Human Resource Department

Our Admin/ HR Department is responsible for the formulation of human resource development policies, recruitment and training of the company’s human capital.
